Deliverables

The standard delivery is a .blend file and a .glb/gltf file.
The full scene will be around 1 million polygons. We also include a .png of a ground level orthographic image of the scene. If you would like us to deliver an HVE or MSMAC file or have other requests please put them in the notes.Note that there may be additional charges for special requests. We will reach out to confirm prior to completing.

Instructions

1. Register the Data

Make sure your data is properly aligned before uploading.
It may be possible for us to register the data for you at an additional charge if you just want to provide the raw scans. Please contact us for more information.

2. Apply Color

Make sure the data has the color applied, if applicable.

3. Export as Structured E57 Files

Most scan processing software provides a way to export the data in a structured format.
Visit our E57 Validation Page to test if your E57 is the correct format.

FARO SCENE:
To provide FARO data, you can simply register the data in FARO SCENE, Apply the Color, then export it. No need to clean the data.
1- Export the original data in an Ordered E57 format. Do not export the Project Point Cloud. Right click on "Scans" then select "Export" -> “Scans” -> "Scans - Ordered"

2- Make sure to export both the Color data and Grey (Intensity) data.

Trimble RealWorks:
In RealWorks, select the scans that you want to export, Select "Export"-> "Export TZF Scans of Selected Stations" from the "Home" menu tab.

Make sure the radio button for E57 is selected.

Leica Cyclone:
In Cyclone Register 360
1- Open the Cyclone REGISTER 360 project and access the "Report" tab.
2- Locate and click on "Export Options for E57" within the "Report" area.
3- Select the "Separate Setups" option.
4- Enable e57 (as one file): In the export options, check the "e57 (as one file)" box.
5- Click the "Publish"button to initiate the export process.

4. Zip the E57 Files

Windows: Right-click the E57 file or folder → Send to → Compressed (zipped) folder
macOS/Linux: Use the terminal command: zip my_upload.zip *.e57
7-Zip: Choose ZIP format and set compression to Store or Deflate

We will check that the files inside are the correct format during validation.

However, due to factors like heavy traffic, incomplete coverage, or poor scan quality, the resulting mesh may contain holes or artifacts. Additional post-processing may be required depending on your intended application. High-quality, complete point cloud data is essential for achieving the best results.
